"Hi Anne, I want to thank you for this outstanding online newsletter. I've recommended this newsletter to my fellow crime prevention practitioners here in the State of Michigan, during my community presentations, my television show "The Prevention Corner" and on Monday 7-9, I'll be a guest host on WAAM Talk Radio 1600am (www.talkradio1600.com) from 6-9am and I'll be promoting the website to the audience as a resource to parents and educators. Thanks for your outstanding work on making this information available to the Internet community."

"I have subscribed to your newsletter for numerous years and look forward to each copy. I read it like the bible. There is such important information in it. I have started emailing blurbs to our parents for their information. (Also inviting them to join the listserve.) The last two editions [1/9/04 and 1/16/04] were so important that I would like to copy/send the articles about Tim La Fazia and associated links to our parents."

"Each issue of your newsletter gives me useful information to mention in my 'Child Internet Safety Talks to Parents' here in Connecticut. My partner and I have been recognized for our work in this area recently [by The Lions Club of Greenwich with its prestigious Dr. John Clarke Award, presented annually to an outstanding police officer in the community].... I wanted to say 'Thank You' to you and your staff for publishing your newsletter. Your informative articles and software product information have helped our program become a success in the battle to keep children safe online. Keep up the good work, and I'll keep mentioning your Web site at my presentations."

"I received my first newsletter today and loved it!!! Such relevant information. As a high school history and civics teacher, I found the info wonderful and will definitely use it with my classes as we conduct research on the Web. I also devoured the information on hate speech. It will definitely lead to a wonderful discussion on First Amendment rights. Keep up the good work. Regards,"

"I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work! I started subscribing last year when researching child Internet safety, but your newsletter provides tremendous information on many topics. I use your references both for my professional research and to share with my kids at home! Thanks for all you do,"

"Interesting family story [leading the 8/20/01 issue]! Just emphasizes in my mind the need to rearrange our computer room furniture. We now have them back-to-back in the middle of the room, but I've been contemplating turning them around. Danielle, our 11-year-old, has never abused Internet privileges, but she will now be homeschooling with an online school. We also just networked our computers so she can access the Internet from her own computer instead of just mine. After reading this, I definitely feel I need to increase the ease of surveillance so we can better assure that she doesn't abuse her Internet privileges. Thanks,"

"I want to thank you for featuring my message so quickly in your newsletter. The investigations performed by your staff were very helpful to me and other readers, as well. I'm disappointed to learn that filtering images is going to be quite a task. I'll continue reading your newsletter weekly for any updated material regarding this matter.... Thanks so much for the help that you and your newsletter provide for all of us in 'Internet Land'."

"I love my subscription! I learn so much every time! I'm not sure if I've already asked you to add a subscription for our Superintendent of Curriculum, and for my 2 counterparts in other parts of the district. If not, would you please?... THANKS! P.S. This was a great issue!"

"Thank you very much for your informative publication. I receive quite a few [publications] by email all the time - and sometimes I tend to delete some of the less important ones because of sheer volume - however, your emails always stay... I always find some area of interest that makes me extremely glad I kept it. It is very difficult to keep abreast of technology due to the enormous content and vast range of applications it covers. Thank you for all your hard work - it is much appreciated."
Gill in South Africa

"I am a middle-level teacher on a leave of absence.... I am very impressed with your work on behalf of kids. As a teacher of 12-14-year-olds and the father of a 3- and 7-year-old, I want to thank you for your work. I will do my best to pass the word on about your site. Please let me know if there is any opportunity to be of any assistance to your great site."

"I teach computer literacy at the 8th-grade level, and I am using your newsletters as a resource for my Internet and ethics sections in my class. They are quite informative and interesting. I would like to recommend your newsletters to other teachers I know would be interested. Could you send brief instructions about how to subscribe? I have lost the name of the site where I first found you. Keep up the good work!!!
